Above ground everything is visible. Below it, people guess. Sensoterra puts an end to that.

Wireless soil moisture sensors show growers, agribusinesses and land managers in real time what is happening at root level. The platform is API-first, so the data lands straight in the systems customers already use.
ConnectedGreen is the intelligence layer on top, translating sensor data into forecasts, recommendations and decision support. ConnectedGreen joined Curious Inc in December 2021; Sensoterra followed in 2025. That brought the sensor and the intelligence that reads it under one roof.
Sensoterra is not ours alone. Future Food Fund, a venture capital fund for food and agritech in North-West Europe, is an investor in the company. ROM Utrecht Region came in through its participation fund in August 2022, where Sensoterra sits under Earth Ventures. Two parties who know the market, each from a different angle, reached the same conclusion.
Developed and made in Europe, deployed in more than forty countries, with a measured accuracy of 99.5%. Suitable for all soil types, from clay to sand to peat.
Less water use, more efficient use of resources, higher yields and more resilient food systems. And in the city: green that survives a dry summer. A sensor saying irrigation isn't needed saves just as much as one saying it is.
They work in different markets, with different customers and different technology. But at heart they do the same thing: they make something visible that was invisible before, and therefore easier to do well.
